Course Outline

Our courses usually run on Monday evenings from 6.30pm - 9.30pm over three weeks.

The outline for each week is below:

Week 1: the BLS algorithm; including chest compressions, and AED use.

Week 2: the recovery position,management of bleeding, choking, and an introduction to infant and child BLS.

Week 3: a brief practice session of previous weeks' material, followed by a skills assessment.

Course Dates

Provisional course start dates for 2023/24 academic year:

Course 1: Monday 9th October 2023

Course 2: Monday 20th November 2023

Course 3: Monday 15th January 2024

Course 4: Monday 26th February 2024

*Courses run for 3 consecutive weeks on Monday evenings.

Please note, priority will be given to Phase 1 medical students.
