The conference was held Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 May 2007 (i.e. during the May bank holiday weekend), at the Langdale Youth Hostel in the Lake District.

The MOAC and Systems Biology DTC MSc students gave talks and posters from their first mini-project, and some of the MOAC PhD students also presented posters.

We had guests from the EPSRC talking about 'The seven principles of public life' (covering the Nolan Principles, Freedom of Information, Data Protection, complaints procedure), and Scott on 'Time management'. The main focus was on careers with talks by multiple speakers about what they do and how they got there.
