MOAC Seminars 2007-2008

During term time, MOAC hosts a weekly joint-DTC seminar series, held in the MOAC Seminar Room (top floor of Coventry House). A free ploughman's lunch is served at 1pm, and the talks start at 1:10pm and finish by 1:45pm. Minibus transport to and from the Gibbet Hill site is usually provided. You are encouraged to sign up to the MOAC events email list.

How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Induction days for PhD students - Westwood Teaching Centre
Westwood Teaching Centre

The day will be divided into plenary sessions with staff from the Graduate School, the Skills Programme, current students and supervisors, as well people from other relevant areas of the University.

There will also be break-away taster sessions of some of the Skills Programme courses and, of course, lunch and refreshments, giving students new to the University a valuable opportunity to meet their contemporaries from other departments.

Students are asked to register, mainly to allow for the correct provision of catering and handouts. This can be done via the Graduate School Skills Programme website (go.warwick.ac.uk/pgskills).
