I started my PhD in October 2011, under the supervision of Dr Nick Carter and Professor Matthew Turner. My research involves experimental and theoretical single-molecule mechanochemistry. I am funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

As an undergraduate, I changed course from Mathematics to Physics, graduating with an MPhys in 2010. In September 2011, I completed the MOAC MSc in Mathematical Biology and Biophysical Chemistry.
