Here you can download the two codes I have used to model the work of Hilker et al. (2007), showing the spread of feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) in populations of cats using reaction-diffusion kinetics. There is also a link to the handout provided in the presentation.
- fivSolve.m simulates population dynamics for non-spatial logistic growth with the Allee effect.
- fivSpat.m incorporates space and diffusion into the above model.
