Ruth Harbord
Welcome to my ePortfolio.
I am in the third year of my PhD, having completed the MOAC MSc in Mathematical Biology and Biophysical Chemistry and a BSc (Hons) in Physical Science with The Open University. As part of my undergraduate I took modules in quantum mechanics, electromagnetism and neuroscience.
Alongside my degree, I undertook work experience in a medical physics laboratory. I have worked in horticulture and administration and volunteered in environmental education.
My PhD project applies Multiregression Dynamic Models to fMRI time series data to infer brain connectivity. I am supervised by Dr. Thomas Nichols in the Dept. of Statistics.
