MOSAIC Events
A key part of the work of MOSAIC is to run events for people from underrepresented groups in Maths, Statistics and Computer Science.

Picnics for Underrepresented Groups
MOSAIC runs picnics (or indoor lunches, if the weather is not good!) for students from underrepresented groups in Maths, Statistics and Computer Science. These are open to students at all levels of study who identify with these groups (UG, PGT and PGR) and they are a great way to get to know others and share experiences. They will be run in Week 3 of Term 1, Term 2 and Term 3.
If you are planning to attend a picnic event, then we would encourage you to register here - this is optional, but helps us to manage numbers, allergies and attendee access needs.
At the moment, we run these picnics for the following groups:
- People of colour
- Women
- Neurodivergent and disabled people
- Trans, non-binary and LGBTQ+ people
If you are part of a group not represented on this list and you would like to run a picnic event for others in your group, then please get in touch! You can contact us at .
LGBTQ+ History Month Posters
In February, we celebrate LGBTQ+ history month by distributing posters highlighting the work and achievements of LGBTQ+ people in Maths, Statistics and Computer Science. Follow the link here to see the most recent posters for this.
If you have any ideas of individuals that you would like to see a poster celebrating next time, then please get in touch! You can contact us at .
