Registration is by no means compulsory, only to help us estimate numbers. Please also use this web form if you want to let us know about any access requirements, including allergies which you may want other attendees to be aware of.
Come and join us for a series of Picnics in the Oculus FieldLink opens in a new window during Week 6. These events are designed create a social space for under-represented groups in the mathematical sciences. The invitation is open to everyone (UG, PG and staff) from maths, statistics and computer science; and we hope that this will provide a space for people to socialise with peers, as well as those further in their academic career, who have similar backgrounds and experiences.
We will set up on a flat area of the grass, close to the pavement, for easier physical accessibility. Please bring your lunch (you can collect a £5 Rootes voucher from the host). Feel free to also bring something to share, but this is not expected! You also may like to bring a picnic blanket.
In the event of bad weather we will relocate inside; and will update the location on this webpage as soon as we know.
