Dr Gitit Kadar-Satat
Hi, I'm Gitit. I am an Assistant Professor and Deputy Director of Undergraduate Studies at the Department of Psychology, University of Warwick.
I am also the department's placements officer, working closely with students, staff and external partners to develop, implement and evaluate various work-based learning opportunities. My research focuses on social inequality in education and employment. I am currently part of the 'Who's Coding?' research team. Our study looks at the experiences of, and outcomes for, adults who have attended coding bootcamps and other similar intensive digital skills courses.

Morenike Allinson
Hi, I'm Morenike. The Psychology Employability Ambassador at the University of Warwick.I have experience conducting both psychological and user experience research, combining analytical and creative approaches to understand human behaviour. I am passionate about helping students recognise how their skills are valuable across a wide range of industries. My interest in user experience research also drives me to enhance the employability journey for students by connecting academic insights with real-world applications. Tom White
Hi, my name is Tom, I'm a PhD researcher, Graduate Teaching Assistant and Personal Development Coach at the University of Warwick.
My research focusses on investigating the influence of consumer-based individual differences (e.g., materialism and hedonic shopping motivation) on how individuals perceive and represent the hedonic (emotive, affective) and utilitarian (functional, purposeful) dimensions of consumer products. Academic Partnerships Manager, Warwick Enterprise
Our team empower and enable students at the University of Warwick to develop their entrepreneurial mindset and competencies. As the team’s liaison with academic and professional services, I design and promote opportunities for creativity, innovation, enterprise, and entrepreneurship. This could be through exploration of new ideas, exchange of experiences, skills and knowledge, and co-creation of collaborative learning and development initiatives, like this Psychology Ideathon.
Cara Hocking
Climate change officer, Coventry City Council
Cara Hocking leads the Hillfields Neighbourhood ImprovementsLink opens in a new window project, funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA). The project supports the City Council’s Climate Change StrategyLink opens in a new window and the WM2041 Net Zero StrategyLink opens in a new window through making Hillfields greener and more sustainable.
Cara engages closely with the local community and collaborates across council services, E.ON, housing associations and other stakeholders to align goals and maximise impact. With a degree in Theoretical Physics and a background in nature finance consultancy, she’s passionate about engaging communities in sustainability and creating effective opportunities.
Tim Fawcett
Head of Infrastructure Delivery, Sustainability Projects, Coventry City Council
Tim Fawcett leads the Strategic Energy Partnership Link opens in a new windowwith E.ON on behalf of the Council. He is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years’ experience planning and delivering infrastructure across multiple sectors in the UK, USA and beyond. Tim is Chair of Centre for the New Midlands Link opens in a new windowInfrastructure Leadership Board, and member of the think tank’s Advisory Board. He is Chair of Coventry University Civil Engineering Industry Advisory Board, as well as guest lecturing at Coventry on broad topics including sustainable transport and development. He is also a member of the Engineering Industry Advisory Panel at the University of Warwick. Tim is on secondment to the Council from consultant Mott MacDonald, Link opens in a new windowwhere he is Birmingham City's Lead, a cross-sector role providing regional leadership.
Matt Dillow
Strategic Energy Partner Development Manager at Coventry City Council
Matthew Dillow is a Strategic Energy Partner Development Manager with over seven years in Coventry’s Climate ChangeLink opens in a new window team. He leads the council’s domestic retrofit programmes, working with partners to accelerate energy efficiency improvements across all housing tenures. Matt work in the Strategic Energy Partnership continues to drive collaborative, place-based energy solutions that support climate resilience and equitable decarbonisation.
Zara Cuming
City Energy Transformation Innovation Lead
18 years at E.ON, building a rare mix of operational, innovation and strategic experience within the renewable energy sector.
My current role focuses on new technology innovation, proposition pilots, community centricity and creativity. I am designing new energy solutions with startups, in collaboration with local government and helping people to unlock more affordable, low-carbon ways to power their homes and businesses. Based in Coventry, I’ve spent the last 18 months turning the city into a testbed for energy innovation, working hand-in-hand with the city council as part of our pioneering 15-year strategic energy partnershipLink opens in a new window.
Davidson Vidayathil Wilson
Hi, I’m a Solutions Coordination Manager at E.ON, working on the Strategic Energy Partnership.
Within the partnership, my focus areas include strategic planning — helping shape the roadmap for our work across the city in the coming years — and supporting the Heat workstream, which looks at how buildings are heated through a range of different technologies. More recently, I’ve been having an active role on communications and stakeholder engagement, ensuring our activities and impact are effectively shared both within and outside the partnership.
I’m a University of Warwick alumnus, holding an MSc in Engineering Business Management from WMG which makes my involvement with this Ideathon all the more exciting. Before joining E.ON, I gained experience across management and technical roles in the engineering, automotive, and non-profit sectors. My interest in sustainability guided me into the energy industry.
John Martin
Solution Strategy and Coordination Lead, E.ON.
John has played a key role in shaping the strategic energy partnership with the Council, contributing throughout both the bidding process and the current delivery phase. With over 20 years of experience in the utilities sector—including positions at National Grid, npower, and E.ON—he has held a broad range of roles spanning customer engagement, regulatory affairs, and project management. His professional focus remains firmly on safety, compliance, and delivering value to customers and stakeholders.

IncharaA U Athreya
Inchara Athreya is doing a PhD on Academic Misconduct Investigations in Higher Education Institutions on a scholarship and stipend from the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council at the University of Warwick. She has a BSc in Psychology with Linguistics and an MA in Social Science Research from the University of Warwick. Inchara is a senior student ambassador who supports the Student Experience strategy in the Department of Psychology.

Hi, I’m Amarita! I’m an Innovation & Funding Manager at E.ON.
I’ve had the opportunity to work across a range of roles within the energy industry and currently my current focus is on driving the decarbonisation of Coventry, through our strategic energy partnership with the city — helping to create a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future.
I’m passionate about creativity, collaboration, and innovation — constantly exploring new ways to do things better or differently, especially when it leads to meaningful impact.
