Research
The topic of my PhD is "A systems perspective on cell polarity". I am trying to understand cell polarity in the fission yeast Sz.pombe and in Dictyostelium discoideum using experimental techniques like microscopy and mathematical modelling.
Diploma thesis: "Modelling of the competence related signalling pathway in Streptococcus mutans" at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg, Germany
