PhD project: The effect of diet on Plasmodium falciparum revealed by NMR Metabolomics and Image Analysis (2012-2016).
MSc 12-weeks projects (2012):
- Experimental: Analysing the role of pathogen effector targets in the plant immune response.
- Theoretical: The role of iron and zinc in retinal physiology and disease: Development of a metabolic systems model.
Research assistant at the University of Warwick. Involved in the characterization of small cysteine peptides important in the seed development in Arabidopsis thaliana (2010-2011).
Collaborator in the Genetics Department at the University of Leon (2007-2010).

Finally a picture of the very first lab I ever worked in. This picture was taken in 2008 in the Genetics department of the University of Leon in Spain. This was the spot I shared with other great professional and better friend, David Garcia Valcarce who also spent some time with me at HRI and whose current research focus on reproduction.
