Following the success of 2019's inaugural event, Research and Impact Services and Warwick Ventures are pleased to invite Early Career Researchers, PhD students and other interested members of the Faculty to participate in a workshop on ‘achieving impact through commercialisation’.

We are delighted that, commercially experienced academics will be joining us and sharing their knowledge and experience. This is a unique opportunity to spend an afternoon with some our commercial trailblazers and impact and innovation experts from R&IS and Warwick Ventures.

Attendees will hear brief presentations from academic colleagues regarding their scientific and/or technological discoveries before working in teams to explore potential pathways to impact for these discoveries. The teams will be supported by Warwick Ventures, the R&IS Impact Team, academics and graduates of the ICURe commercialisation programme to produce short, informal poster presentations.

This event is designed to help researchers:

1) Develop skills in identifying possible research users and appropriate markets.

2) Explore the multiple pathways that will best enable engagement with research users and markets.

3) Grow their Warwick research network to include experts in commercialisation, technology transfer and impact.
