TEL in Academic Integrity
Project description
The project will focus on understanding student preferences and best practice methodologies for utilising Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) for teaching academic integrity and study skills.
Objectives:
- To understand best practice in academic integrity education in the HE sector at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- To understand best practice and student preferences for the use of TEL in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- To compare these findings with the Warwick and WMG approaches to the use of TEL in academic integrity and study skills education.
- To recommend future activities for the academic integrity group at WMG to fully utilize TEL to maximise engagement in academic integrity and study skills teaching.
- To provide a methodology and recommendations for the measurement of success of TEL enhanced AI training materials
Duties and responsibilities
The intern would be responsible for interrogating existing TEL within the areas of academic integrity and study skills materials and to deliver recommendations to facilitate an enhanced student experience.
Required skills
- Capability to acquire skills to query databases to identify suitable literature.
- Awareness of TEL as a user
- Written and oral presentation skills to present outcomes from the research undertaken.
