Research from CES looks at how religious education contributes to community cohesion

The work of Warwick Religions and Education Research Unit (WRERU) in CES has been cited on Phys.org

Religious education is key to community cohesion finds new research following a survey of nearly 12,000 13- to 15-year-old students attending schools across the United Kingdom.

The project on "Young People's Attitudes to Religious Diversity", carried out by the Warwick Religions and Education Research Unit (WRERU) at the University of Warwick, addressed two main questions:

  • What are the attitudes of in the UK to religious diversity?
  • What are the main influences shaping those attitudes

Inaugural Meeting of the Early Years Education RIG

This RIG (Research Interest Group) intends to develop a network of practitioners, students and academics interested in the field of Early Years Education with a view to furthering understanding of leadership in this context and developing the relationship between research and practice.

CES Department Trip to Gregynog Hall 2017

On 21st-22nd January, students and staff from across the faculty made the annual CES trip to Gregynog Hall in Wales. The weekend offered the chance to get away from campus and city life and 'expand the mind' amidst the Welsh countryside air and the historic and original Hall.

CES Graduation Reception Winter 2017

Congratulations to all CES students who Graduated January 2017!

On Wednesday 18th January 2017, we held a Graduation Reception for all CES students who graduated at the morning ceremony. The reception was held after the ceremony in the Chancellors Suite in Rootes Building.

It was a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work that the students and staff have put in over the years. All very well-deserved!
