An event organised by Dr Emily Henderson was featured in Times Higher Education magazine this week. The event focused on the issues involved in conducting international ethnographic research on higher education, and included presentations from Lisa Lucas (Bristol), Adam Walton (UCL), Maria do Mar Pereira (Warwick) and Jessica Gagnon (Portsmouth). The event was hosted by the Society for Research into Higher Education and was convened by the International Research and Researchers Network.

On the 10th of November we held the first Education Symposium for sixth form and college studnets interested in learning more about studying Education as a discipline. Find out more about the day and the topics that were explored here.

CES has appointed three student champions who will be helping to enhance the student experience in the coming academic year.

The Centre for Education Studies, University of Warwick, with support from the DCD Family Trust, has recently appointed a Reader in Islamic Education, Dr Abdullah Sahin.

The University of Warwick and the DCD Family Trust held a launch event at the Scarman Building in October to celebrate this exciting new initiative.
