Herbert Art Gallery and Museum

The Peace and Reconciliation Gallery opened in 2008. It explores themes around peace, conflict and reconciliation through Coventry's history and covers the link with Dresden particularly well.

The Herbert sometimes runs special exhibitions, for example 'A Tale of Two Cities' in 2012 which featured the twinning of Coventry and Stalingrad and Coventry Biennial on the theme of 'The Twin' in 2019.

The Herbert put together a short film in 2014 giving a short background to Coventry and its commitment to reconciliation as well as a guide to the gallery and to an exhibition running at the time. it is curated by Shasti Lowton.
