VIBE: Venture Into Business Engagement

What is VIBE?

Discover the VIBE Programme and find out how you can collaborate with business to develop your research further and create more social impact.

The programme is funded by ESRC to help researchers to respond to the changing landscape of research funding that increasingly includes collaborating with business to solve some of society's biggest issues.

The VIBE programme starts with a training course during Autumn term consisting of five highly interactive online sessions that explore how collaborating with businesses can help ECRs & PhD Students in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in realising sustainable social impact from research and also equip researchers with skills to engage with businesses and social enterprises. During the Spring term participants can apply what they have learned and engage with organsiations whilst being support through peer-learning surgeries and tailored individual mentoring.

The VIBE programme is open to all interested Social Sciences research staff and is especially suitable for doctoral research candidates and early-career Researchers.
