VIBE: Venture Into Business Engagement

What is VIBE?

Discover the VIBE Programme and find out how you can collaborate with business to develop your research further and create more social impact.

The programme is funded by ESRC to help researchers to respond to the changing landscape of research funding that increasingly includes collaborating with business to solve some of society's biggest issues.

The VIBE programme starts with a training course during term 1 consisting of four sessions that explore how business can help Social Scientists in realising sustainable social impact from research and also equip researchers with skills to engage with businesses and social enterprises. Participants can choose to continue the programme during term 2 and apply for funding to travel to meet with relevant businesses to investigate collaboration potential.

The VIBE programme is open to all interested Social Sciences research staff and is especially suitable for doctoral research candidates and early-career Researchers.
