International Student Mediator Network

 

The International Student Mediator Network is led by Dr Jane Bryan (University of Warwick) and Kudrat Dev (Youth Conflict Management and Mediation Initiative, India) with country leads from Ireland, Cyprus, Spain, Australia and the US.

The network connects students interested in mediation for whole group talks by experts, mock mediation events and smaller group student research projects.

About the project

You will be paired up with an international student as a team. Each pair will have monthly deliverables such as: research on 1 topic, recording 1 podcast on the research topic, doing a mock co-mediation and/or mediator’s opening statement.

Final Project
Outputs Include: podcast series, recorded mock co-mediations, documentary on youth mediation across the world and presentations at international conferences.

Eligibility criteria:
  • Open to all students.
  • Highly professional behavior.
  • Preference to those with prior exposure to mediation OR proven interest in mediation.
