Community Safety

The Community Safety team has a key role in safeguarding those within the campus community. They are available 24 hours a day and can be reached in the event of an out of hour’s emergency (fire, police, ambulance) by ringing 024 7652 2222.

Wellbeing Support

Wellbeing offers support in a variety of different ways, with the purpose of helping the individual to develop the resources and skills to overcome challenges within student life. The Wellbeing Support Team offers advice and assistance in accessing other services. This includes workshops, one to one appointments, therapy groups, mentoring and the provision of self-help resources.

Student Union Advice Centre

The student union offers information and advice to allow students to make decisions for themselves. Guidance can be offered to students in a number of different areas, including University disciplinary hearings, complaints and appeals.

Sexual and Domestic Abuse Adviser (SDAA)

We have an SDAA on campus who provides emotional support and advice to any member of the University who has been affected by sexual and/or domestic abuse.

Report and Support

This is the Warwick online platform where both staff and students can report sexual misconduct, bullying, harassment, discrimination and hate crime. You can report anonymously or with your name. There are also support pages which signpost on and off campus support and self-care resources.

Togetherall

Formally 'Big White Wall', Togetherall is an online mental health and wellbeing service, which operates 24/7 and enables users to anonymously share experiences and support one another, moderated by trained professionals to ensure that the community is safe.

Our Dignity Principles

Our Dignity Principles set out our expectations of how we behave as a community, both as individuals and as an institution, and inform our approach to taking appropriate action when these expectations are not met.. The expectations of all students and staff are made clear, in addition to behaviours that are not tolerated (including sexual misconduct, violence, abuse and discrimination).

There is also a ‘Moodle’ course that all students are asked to complete. It covers the rights and responsibilities of each member of our community needs to know about student conduct.
