How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Emotions Reading Group

Join Heather Widdows, Lorenzo Serini and Eliza Little for the Emotions Reading Group.

We will be reading Peter Goldie: The Emotions: A Philosophical Perspective, available on-line from the Warwick library.

Meeting Wednesday mornings 10-11, we will start in Week 2 with the intro and chapter 1, and then one chapter for each subsequent week, finishing in week 9.

About the Lecture

  • Professor Sascha Becker will discuss “Why Forced Migration is Different” - This discussion looks at the causes and consequences of forced migration
  • Professor Omer Moav will talk about “From Hunter-Gatherers to Hierarchies: The Impact of Agriculture” - This lecture explores the transformative shift from small, egalitarian hunter-gatherer societies to complex, hierarchical civilizations. We will delve into the pivotal role of agriculture in driving this transition.

We are excited to invite you to the first PGT social in term 1. On Wednesday 16 October, we'll treat you all to a free lunch 🍕 + 🧃 and bring some board games you can play with other students (feel free to bring your own too if you'd like). Please join us in the Law Student Hub 1-2pm - all Law masters students are welcome!

This will be followed by an "Introduction to the UK Legal Sector and Your Career Choices" which will be led by our Senior Careers Consultant, Sam The session will run from 2 pm in LIB2 (your usual LA984 lecture will continue after this).
