Four social scientists conferred Fellowship of the Academy for Spring 2023
Out of a total of 56 leading social scientists elected from institutions across the UK, Warwick has the largest group of newly elected Fellows.
The Academy’s FellowshipLink opens in a new window is made up of distinguished individuals from academic, public, private and third sectors, across the full spectrum of the social sciences. Through leadership, scholarship, applied research, policymaking, and practice, they have helped to deepen the understanding of, and address, some of the toughest challenges facing our society and the world.
Congratulations to the following colleagues:
- Professor Bishnupriya Gupta, Professor of Economics
- Professor Anthony Liddicoat, Professor of Applied Linguistics
- Professor Chris Warhurst, Professor and Director of the Warwick Institute for Employment Research (IER)
- Professor Nick Vaughan-Williams, Professor of International Security and Vice-Provost and Chair of the Faculty of Social Sciences
All Academy Fellows are conferred following independent and robust peer review by the Academy’s Nominations Committee.
