Franklyn Lisk attends the 58th session of the Trade and Development Board, UNCTAD

CSGR Professorial Research Fellow, Franklyn Lisk, recently spoke as a panellist at the UNCTAD 58th session on 'Economic Development in Africa: Fostering Industrial Development in Africa in the New Global Environment.'

IEE-ULB GR:EEN Conference Call for Papers

“Speaking Europe Abroad: Institutional Cooperation and the Making of EU's Discourse”.

This workshop is to be held on February 14th-15th in Brussels.

Submission process is as follows:

Submission of a paper proposal (500 - 800 words), a biographical note and contact details (email and University address) to Dr Caterina Carta (repi@ulb.ac.be), by October the 10th 2011. Authors will be notified of the acceptance/rejection of their papers by October the 18th, once the review process is completed.

 Selected participants will be invited to send a complete draft version of their papers (between 5.000 and 10.000 words) by January the 1st 2012 at the latest. Authors who fail to send their paper on time will be removed from the program and expenses will not be reimbursed.

Annual Conference Call for Papers Released

The First GR:EEN Annual Conference has now issued a call for papers.The conference is entitled "The Nature of the EU as a Global Actor: After Lisbon and After (?) the Financial Crisis"

All abstracts are due by September 30th for panel review. The conference will take place in Milan, 9-10 February 2012
