André Broome

André Broome is Senior Lecturer in International Political Economy and convener of the IPE Research Group in the Department of Political Science and International Studies (POLSIS) at the University of Birmingham, and Principal Research Fellow for the EU Framework 7 Programme Global Reordering: Evolution through European Networks (GR:EEN) in the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation (CSGR) at the University of Warwick.

 

André’s research explores the historical evolution and contemporary dynamics of global economic governance. He is the author of The Currency of Power: The IMF and Monetary Reform in Central Asia (Palgrave, IPE Series, 2010), and has published in a range of journals including articles in Australian Journal of International Affairs, Comparative European Politics, Contemporary Politics, Global Society, Globalizations, Journal of International Relations and Development, New Political Economy, Review of International Political Economy, and The Round Table.
