The United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration (UNU-CRIS) is committed to researching the role of regions in global governance. We joined the GR:EEN project to advance our insights in what is happening and embark upon imagining how the multilateralism can cope with today’s challenges and how regional organisations such as the EU can contribute to a renewed multilateralism. Our contribution will focus upon studying the notion of regional leadership and upon conducting foresight exercises.
