Marcelo Saguier (PhD) is Research Fellow at Argentina’s National Science and Technology Research Council (CONICET) and Senior Fellow at the Department of International Relations of the Latin American School of Social Sciences (FLACSO) in Buenos Aires. He also teaches international relations at the National Foreign Service Institute (ISEN), Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His research focuses on transnational civil society; the intersections between socio-environmental conflicts and regionalism in South America; and the governance of transnational corporations from a rights-based perspective.

At GREEN Marcelo is interested in exploring EU-Latin American relations in terms of its potential for creating new international policy frameworks for corporate accountability with human and environmental rights.
