Basje Bender is a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam. In the context of GR:EEN she researches the external dimension of networked governance structures that have developed in European competition law. Main issues to be addressed are the workings of the current model and the possible context for external application. Basje was a trainee at the European Commission (DG Competition) and an intern at different law firms. She graduated from Utrecht University in European law and Italian Studies.
