IMF Research Network

About the IMF Research Network

Created at the Bretton Woods Conference in 1944 and based in Washington, D.C., the International Monetary Fund remains one of the most controversial international organizations in the contemporary architecture of global economic governance.


The IMF Research Network was established in 2012, and comprises over 100 members including academic researchers in Political Science and International Relations, Sociology, Law, and Economics at universities around the world, as well as researchers working in international organizations, think tanks, and national policy institutions.
IMF Mailing List

The Research Network incorporates the IMF Mailing List – a moderated email forum for disseminating new publications related to the IMF and advertising news of research events on global economic governance.

To join please send an email including your name, position, and institutional affiliation with the heading ‘subscribe’ to:

      The IMF Research Network is convened by André Broome (University of Warwick, UK) and Manuela Moschella (Scuola Normale Superiore, Italy).
