Faculty of Social Sciences Building
These images showcase the Social Sciences Building, home to Warwick Philosophy since 1977. Designed by Shepheard Epstein Hunter and built by Laing, the structure reflects the innovative spirit of its era, with a striking cantilever bridge linking its newer wing to the main building. Its red-brick, low-profile design wraps around two peaceful courtyards and houses six air-conditioned lecture theatres. More than just a building, it has been the backdrop to decades of philosophical thought, teaching, and growth—an architectural symbol of Warwick’s commitment to bold, interdisciplinary inquiry.
