Two philosophy PhD students, Shaun Stevenson and Phil Gaydon have been shortlisted for the Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence PGR 2017. Congratulations to both!

The First Person, Action, and Perception: Dr Eylem Ozaltun, Koc University, Istanbul, is visiting the Warwick Mind and Action Research Centre until the end of May, to work on a project with Prof Naomi Eilan, funded by a Newton Mobility grant.

On January 12th Keith Ansell-Pearson took part in a BBC Radio 4 ‘In Our Time’ programme devoted to Nietzsche’s Genealogy of Morality. Two articles by Eileen John have been highlighted as contributions to aesthetics:

'Literature and Disagreement' as one of the top five articles in aesthetics in 2014, by Aesthetics for Birds and 'Meals, Art, and Artistic Value' as Article of the Year 2015 by the Slovak and Finnish Aesthetics societies.
