Summary The project explores the relationship between gender and devolution in Wales, looking at both the National Assembly for Wales and Welsh local government. It is investigating how different gender balances affect policy development and political culture at these two levels of government. It also explores the engagement of civil society organisations with local and regional government and whether this engagement is affected by the contrasting gender balances.

Crynhoad Bydd y prosiect yn astudio’r perthynas rhwng gender a datganoli yng Nghymru, gan edrych ar Gynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru a llywodraeth leol Gymreig. Mae’r prosiect hwn yn ystyried sut y mae cydbwysedd gender yn effeithio ar ddatblygiad polisi a diwylliant gwleidyddol ar y ddwy lefel llywodraethol hon; mae e hefyd yn edrych mewn i’w effaith ar ymrwymiad gwleidyddol sefydliadau yn y gymdeithas sifil.
