"Building Feminist Solidarity against Genocide in Gaza"

This panel event will bring together:

  • Dr Islah Jad (Associate Professor in Political Science and faculty member of the Institute of Women's Studies, Birzeit University): The genocidal victim
  • Dr Rania Jawad (Assistant Professor in English Language and Literature and Director of the Institute of Women'S Studies, Birzeit University): "The details that we live in this war kill us a million times more than the war itself"
  • Reem Al-Botmeh (Academic Researcher and Acting director for the Institute of Law, Birzeit University): Beyond killing: Different structures of genocide
  • Dr Ashjan Ajour (Palestinian scholar and Lecturer in Sociology, School of Social, Historical and Political Studies, University of Wolverhampton) – Discussant
