Past Ansal Academic Enhancement Programmes

In June 2018, the University of Warwick was delighted to host students from Ansal University for the inaugural enhancement programme. The students spent time on the Warwick campus as part of the programme, which was designed in partnership between Warwick and Ansal University. This was just the start of our partnership and we ran the second successful programme in September 2019.

The bespoke programmes gave students a taster of life and studying at a world-class University in the UK. Ansal students stayed on our beautiful Warwick campus made the most of their time by exploring the campus, the City of Coventry and surrounding areas. They enjoyed an academic course on Game Theory led by Professor Abhinay Muthoo. They also visited many of the UK’s cultural highlights including Stratford-Upon-Avon and Oxford as well as group dinners and a fun curry and quiz night. The students were also fortunate to experience guest lectures, in 2018 from Dr Tom Martin from the Department of Economics and Professor Chris Ennew, Provost and in 2019 from Professor Daniel Sgroi from the Department of Economics and from Dr Nadia Olivero, Assistant Professor of Consumer Psychology at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Most of the students also enjoyed a weekend in London exploring the sights and sounds of our famous capital City.

Professor Abhinay Muthoo, said ‘I am delighted to have welcomed the students from Ansal University to our two programmes marking the start of a long and fruitful partnership between our two institutions’.

We are looking forward to next year when many more Ansal students will join us in September 2021.
