The Sales Excellence Hub (SEH), Warwick Business School aims to strengthen connections between sales practice and research to improve the sales profession in the United Kingdom. The Sales Excellence Hub has organised a series of events this year to learn about priorities and challenges of the UK sales profession. Currently, it is conducting the State of Sales Study 2024 to assess how UK sales organisations and managers are performing on these priorities and challenges. We would like to invite you to participate in our study.
At the State of Sales Conference 2024, we will release and present findings from our study to lean about further developing the sales profession. Additionally, there will be leadings sales researchers presenting insights from research projects related to these topics and sales leaders discussing the findings and pathways for developing the discipline.
Preliminary Agenda of the State of Sales Conference 2024:
State of Sales 2024 – Where is the UK sales profession and how can it improve?
Translating sales research into practice – A set of parallel thought leadership presentations (attendees to select one in advance), each followed by an expert panel discussion. Indicative topics: Performance management and incentives, sales talent, digital enhancement, and artificial intelligence
Panel Discussion: Meeting the Challenge – Thought leaders from practice and academia will discuss pathways for overcoming current challenges of the UK sales profession.
Workshop Sessions: Conference participants are invited to join interactive workshop groups to develop pathways to develop the sales profession, responding to current challenges.
Sales Excellence Hub Outlook for 2025 and Beyond: Integrating thought and practice leadership to advance the sales profession in the coming 5 years.
