Amit Chaudhary
Amit is a researcher in decentralized finance (DeFi), focusing on privacy-preserving technologies and regulatory compliance. HIs work explores how these technologies can be integrated into blockchain ecosystems to address key challenges in the rapidly evolving financial landscape. He has published widely on topics such as liquidity on decentralized exchanges and the systemic risks in DeFi lending platforms. Prior to his academic career, Amit gained industry experience in blockchain technolgy. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Wrwick, an MA from the Delhi School of Economics, and a Bachelors degree from IIT Kanpur.
Dan Philps
Dan Philps, PhD, CFA, is head of Rothko Investment Strategies and is an artificial intelligence (AI) researcher. He has 20 years of quantitative investment experience. Prior to Rothko, he was a senior portfolio manager at Mondrian Investment Partners. Before 1998, Philps worked at a number of investment banks, specializing in the design and development of trading and risk models. He has a PhD in artificial intelligence and computer science from City, University of London, a BSc (Hons) from King’s College London, is a CFA charterholder, a member of CFA Society of the UK, and is an honorary research fellow at the University of Warwick.
Rhomaios Ram
A former Banking Executive with 22+ years of experience, including most recently Global Head of Product Management for Transaction Banking at Deutsche Bank, Rhom has developed an interest in creating digital businesses for finance and finance related areas. He brings experience of working across a wide variety of wholesale banking businesses and functions including sales, trading, product management, and technology to his role at Fnality. The majority of his experience has been developing businesses where the product is at the intersection of finance and technology.
Rhom has a BSc. from Imperial College London and a MBA from Columbia Business School.
