Proofreading your dissertation

In this session, you will realise the importance of thorough editing and proofreading of your dissertation. We will review the typical academic conventions for writing in a formal academic style and how to ensure that your writing is to the highest possible standard. You will be give practical advice on how to edit and proofread your writing in terms of clarity of communication, structure, referencing, and style. You will have the opportunity to proofread and feedback on some samples of writing.
