We are delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to learn a foreign language whilst you are studying at Warwick.

Classes take place in the evening (18:30-20:30 UK time), on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursday for eight weeks during weeks 2-10 (no classes in week 5). Please note if you are allocated to a class which runs on a Thursday, there will be no class in week 6 due to the UK Public Holiday - these classes will move to week 11.

Lessons will take place online via Microsoft Teams.

If you are given a place you must commit to regular attendance and you will be expected to give time and effort to your allocated language in addition to attending each lesson. Attendance is recorded on a weekly basis. If you are unable to attend a class please advise the Language Centre by email - SMLCOffice@warwick.ac.uk. Where students attend a minimum of 80% of their classes and good progress has been made, a Certificate of Attendance will be awarded by the Language Centre.

The following languages are offered – all at beginner level only. IMPORTANT: If you have studied or have experience of any of the language choices, you should not select that language.

Please note these classes are a repeat of term 2 classes, so you should not select a language you studied during term 2.

You should select three language choices - if you are given a place we will do our best to allocate you to one of your chosen languages. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, but priority will be given to students who did not study a language in term 2.

The choices form will close once all places have been filled or on Friday 18 March - whichever is sooner.
