Social Events and Activities

As well as supporting your academic and personal development, we have built in some opportunities for you to unwind, have fun and network with your peers in the WBS community.

How do I get involved?

Information will be posted on my.wbs, so do look out for these updates.

What does available to all mean?

We offer two social events and activities in Terms 1 and 2, and one in Term 3, all of which are open to every student. Students are asked to register for these events so we can make the necessary catering and other arrangements, where applicable.

What does sign up mean?

With sign up events there are a limited number of spaces on each trip, so it isn’t possible for every student to attend all of them. Not everyone is interested in the same trips, and demand can vary. Please think about which event you are interested in and take a look at the FAQ's.

Places on these events are prestigious, so it is important that you only sign up if you are definitely committed to attending. Attendance is taken at each event.

We provide 1 weeks advance notice of the sign up events form opening. This gives all students time to prepare, as long as they are taking personal responsibility in checking

my.wbs regularly!
