The Selection and Allocation Process
Please read the below carefully before submitting your choices, so that you understand how the allocation process works.
1) Selecting your elective - Once you have reviewed the information for each module, please use the form below to rank your module preferences. Please rank them in order of preference (with Elective Choice 1 being your preferred choice). You will then be allocated to one elective module.
2) Submission deadline - The form will close at 12:00 noon, Wednesday 4th March 2026 and no further changes will be accepted after that time. Whilst the form is open you can make changes, but please remember that any resubmission will overwrite previous submissions.
3) Allocation to modules - You are asked to select your choices in order of preference in case we are not able to grant you a place on your preferred option. This could be for a number of reasons, including:
-
- There will be minimum number of students required on each of the elective modules for them to be viable
-
Places may be limited to a maximum number of students for certain modules
Please also note:
-
Places are NOT allocated on a first come first served basis so you don't need to rush to submit your choices
-
Places may be allocated taking into account your attendance and engagement on your course so far
4) Module registration - You will be registered to your confirmed elective module later in March. You will then be able to access the module page on my.wbs. You will not be able to change your elective module.
If you have any questions, please e-mail AccountingPG@wbs.ac.uk
