Students can select their specialism using the form below. Students are advised to review the PG Essentials Link opens in a new windowslides and recording from Week 1 to understand more about each specialism.

In addition to these videos you can review each module in the university Module Catalogue . To search for a module, enter the module code but remove the final character (e.g. for IB9MS0 enter IB9MS). The catalogue entry will show the module aims, objectives, and assessment methods. Please note the method of delivery of 'study time' can vary dependent on the term in which a module is offered.

If students have further questions then please approach your Academic Tutor or Course Director.

The deadline to submit your form is 12:00 noon on Wednesday 21st October 2026.

Students should make their decision carefully as once students have been allocated to a specialism, they cannot pick a module from another specialism, and they cannot be moved to a different specialism.

Select your preferred Specialism (only one option should be submitted) (required)
