The University of Warwick and Stellenbosch University will process your personal data, being your full name, work phone number and email address, for the purpose of administering and reviewing your application to the Stellenbosch-Warwick Joint Seed Fund. In addition, if successful, your name, project title and amount awarded will be shared online. We may also use your name and project title to write and publish online a case study on your project.
The legal basis for processing this personal data is the performance of a contract and legitimate interest (legitimate interest – where we will be sharing your personal data as described above online). You may object at anytime by contacting isr@warwick.ac.uk. Please note if you do not want to have your details posted online or used to write a case study then these details will not be published online.
Your personal data will not be shared or disclosed to any third parties external to the University of Warwick or Stellenbosch University, except your name, project title and amount awarded which will be shared online and available worldwide.
Your personal data will not be transferred outside of the EEA, will be kept securely by the University of Warwick and will be retained for a period of 5 years, except that personal data which will be published online as above, and except that data which will be transferred to Stellenbosch University explicitly for the purpose of assessing and reviewing your application as part of our pre-contract steps.
You may exercise rights in respect of your personal data. These are the right of access to it, to rectify inaccurate information, to restrict processing or erase personal data, to object to our processing of it and to transfer it to another controller.
