The University’s International Partnership Fund (IPF) aims to strengthen or initiate exchange between Warwick researchers/educators and their counterparts from leading international universities or institutes by enabling them to jointly undertake preliminary research, organise meetings, conferences, or workshops. The award value is £3,500 per year for projects in Europe, and £5,000 per year for projects in the rest of the world.
Warwick’s international strategy is focused on growing our reputation as one of the world’s exceptional universities through global recognition of our research and education excellence. We give priority to applications that support the University in delivering on its international ambitions in line with departmental and institutional strategies.
Warwick already supports collaborations with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Monash University and Stellenbosch University through discrete joint funding schemes and as such, collaborations with these institutions are not eligible for IPF funding.
Projects start on 1 August 2024 and have a maximum duration of two years. In the 2024/25 IPF call a total of 26 awards were made.
