Key Partners
Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HK PolyU)
For over 35 years WMG and HKPolyU have collaborated to deliver joint postgraduate degrees in Engineering Business Management and Supply Chain and Logistics Management. Collaboration with HKPolyU also includes joint research and student exchange.
PolyU is recognised as one of Asia’s leading universities, renowned for its strengths in innovation, applied research, and close industry collaboration. Its strategic focus on technology-driven solutions and global partnerships aligns closely with Warwick’s mission to deliver research and education with real world impact. This shared commitment has fostered decades of collaboration in joint research, teaching initiatives and student mobility programmes.
In November 2025, Warwick welcomed a delegaton from HK PolyU to campus, led by President Jin-Guang Teng. The universities renewed their Student Mobility Agreement, reaffirming their shared commitment to offering students enriching international experiences. This agreement ensured continued opportunities to study abroad, equipping graduates with the global perspectives and skills needed to succeed in a globally connected world.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Professor Croft highlighted the vital role of international partnerships in advancing academic excellence and creating societal impact:
Our partnership with Hong Kong Polytechnic University is built on a shared belief that collaboration drives innovation and impact.
For 39 years we’ve worked together to advance research, education, and global opportunities for students.
By renewing our agreements and launching new initiatives, we are not only strengthening our collaboration but also laying the groundwork for research and education that deliver meaningful benefits to society worldwide.
