Active in Europe

We play an active role in European higher education, research and innovation, and are proud to be a founding member of the EUTOPIA European University allianceLink opens in a new window. In 2022, the European Commission renewed EUTOPIA’s funding, providing a further €14.3 million for EUTOPIA to continue developing a new model for Higher Education in Europe.

Through our membership of prestigious European networks, including The Guild of European Research Intensive UniversitiesLink opens in a new window and Friends of EuropeLink opens in a new window, we extend our influence within higher education, research, policy and industry across Europe.

Our beautiful centre in the heart of historic Venice will benefit thousands of students, researchers and partners from all over the world. Overlooking the Grand Canal, the space within the Palazzo Giustinian Lolin building will be used as an all-year round centre for seminars, summer schools and degree modules.
