EUTOPIA Innovation Challenge

EUTOPIA Innovation Challenge at Warwick

EUTOPIA Innovation Challenge

07-09 July

University of Warwick (hybrid)

Student Innovation

The EUTOPIA Innovation Challenge aims to promote local engagement of students (undergraduate and master's level) through collaborative partnerships and challenge-based initiatives with stakeholders from public and private sectors to address real problems, taking advantage of the potentialities of creative environments to stimulate cross-disciplinary work.

What can you expect: If you participate in this challenge, you will have the chance to work on an entrepreneurial project with a team of Warwick students, while engaging in dialogue with teams from other EUTOPIA Alliance partners across Europe.

Your team will be based on the Warwick campus, in a room with hybrid meeting capability, and you will interact with other teams via an online space. Activities will take place from 09:00 to 17:00 on 07-09 July, and on each day lunch will be provided.

This event will focus on the theme of Student Innovation. What challenges do students face when trying to start their own business, or develop a new product or service, while at university? What challenges do universities (and university alliances) face when supporting these students? You will explore these topics in dialogue with student entrepreneurs and facilitators of innovation programmes from across the Warwick Innovation District.’
