On 13 March, MEP Christian Ehler and MEP René Repasi published their draft reports for the European Parliament on the European Commission’s proposals for the Horizon Europe framework programme 2028-34 (FP10). The Guild warmly welcomes their ambition for a reform of FP10 so that it can more effectively and efficiently boost Europe’s scientific leadership, competitiveness and prosperity.

The University of Warwick celebrated the successful launch of the Warwick India Network (WIN) on Monday 16 March, taking place at the heart of One World Warwick, the University’s celebration of global perspectives, cultural diversity and international collaboration. The timing underscored the spirit of the initiative, bringing people together across cultures, disciplines and experiences. More than 100 academic and professional staff and students joined the event to explore and shape Warwick’s growing engagement with India.

Warwick’s campus buzzed with energy on 10 March as over 80 students dove into a world of international possibilities at the Go Global Fair. From study abroad pathways and global work placements to immersive cultural experiences, attendees explored a vibrant mix of opportunities designed to elevate their Warwick journey.

 The University of Warwick has joined forces with a group of ten UK universities and sector organisations to launch the Global Response Platform (GRP), a new, sector-wide approach that will enable higher education institutions to coordinate actions in response to crises affecting students, academics and higher education systems overseas. 

The University of Warwick proudly participated in the international symposium “From Experience: The Arts PhD in Practice,” held in Brussels on 5–6 March 2026. The two‑day event was hosted by Arts Platform Brussels, the partnership between the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and the Erasmushogeschool Brussel (EhB), and organised in collaboration with the University of Stellenbosch, the University of Gothenburg and the University of Warwick. 

This year’s EUTOPIA Languages Week (2–6 March 2026) proved a vibrant success across the Alliance, with Warwick staff and students actively engaging in a rich programme of language, culture, and multilingualism activities delivered both online and across partner campuses. The week brought together participants from across EUTOPIA universities, creating space for exploration, collaboration, and celebration of linguistic diversity.

This initiative brings together international leaders whose work advances understanding of children and youth with disabilities and intersectionality. The University of Toronto and the University of Warwick jointly funded this workshop, co-lead by Professor Sally Lindsay and Dr Stella Chatzitheochari.
