Marie Greene
Marie has had a transformative impact on the Faculty of Arts in just two years. She has shown exceptional leadership by creating the Academic Administration Community of Practice - bringing together colleagues across the University to build shared processes, assessment guidelines, and a more cohesive student experience.
Marie has also led the Faculty Module Fairs, supported the emerging Faculty Hub, and shaped key equality, diversity and inclusion and education initiatives.
By identifying opportunities for improvement and turning them into practical, long-term solutions, she goes forward and further. Thinking freely, Marie challenges inherited processes with evidence-based ideas drawn from her broad sector experience.
By bringing together colleagues with diverse perspectives and creating spaces where professional services and academic staff feel equally valued, she thrives on difference. This way, contributions are heard and shared practice is genuinely co‑created.
Creating connections internally and externally, Marie continues to raise the profile of Arts & Humanities within Warwick and across the Russell Group. By mentoring and guiding colleagues, sharing opportunities, Marie uplifts others, builds confidence, and enables people to succeed.
