Kevin Moffat shortlisted for Higher Education Bioscience Teacher of the Year Award
Professor Kevin Moffat (Life Sciences) has been shortlisted for the 2017 Higher Education Bioscience Teacher of the Year Award, which recognises teachers who have shown an outstanding contribution to higher education in the biosciences.
Robert Jackson awarded honorary doctorate by the Norwegian University of science and technology
Professor Robert Jackson (Centre for Education Studies) has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, in recognition of his contributions to education about religions and beliefs in an intercultural context in Norway and internationally.
Martin Hairer awarded KBE
Professor Martin Hairer, FRS Regius Professor of Mathematics, has been awarded a KBE for services to Mathematical Sciences.
