Support with the cost of living
We know that with the rising cost of living, you may be feeling concerned about managing your money and covering costs.
We want to do what we can to help. You’ll find information on these pages about our package of support, information to help manage your finances, and details about offers and support for you.
We will continue to work closely with staff and students to understand what additional help may be needed over the coming months.
Financial support
We’re offering extra help to staff on lower salary grades, with a cost of living payment for eligible salaried employees on Grades 1a-5.
Eligible salaried employees who find themselves struggling with unexpected costs or a change in personal circumstances can apply for an interest free loan.
A free online personal finance platform is also available to help you to look after your finances.
Wellbeing support
Concerns around money and finances can feel stressful. This may impact different parts of your life, including your mental health and emotional wellbeing. See the support available for you.
This includes the Employee Assistance Programme, which also offers support on financial matters.
