Abstract: ‘Racial capitalism is a useful framework for understanding the intersecting socio-ecological crises of the Anthropocene, including unprecedented environmental degradation, extreme economic inequality, and the resurgence of authoritarian ethno-nationalism. This lecture examines the logic of racial capitalism in order to distinguish between reforms that entrench the system and those that facilitate its transformation’
