‘Immune and inflammatory mechanisms in stroke’”

 In this seminar I will present recent preclinical and clinical data from our research group related to how both systemic and central immune/inflammatory responses are important in stroke. This will include studies showing early immune changes post-stroke that may be important in susceptibility to infection. In addition I will show experimental data on potential new approaches to treat stroke, targeting thromboinflammatory processes.
